A Cursed Spirit? Isn't That Just a Giant Bad Sweetheart?

The youngest member of the popular idol group “Cecil’s Second Death,” Chun Gu Yinhe, is hailed as a fairy who can weave dreams and manipulate hearts, a true magical girl of the next generation. But it wasn’t until Tokyo’s jujutsu sorcerers actually saw the kid throw away the cabbage in her hands, shout “Transform!” and wipe out a cursed spirit with a pink heart-shaped beam that they realized the rumors were true. And worse still, in front of elementary schoolers with dreams, that supposedly one-in-a-million talent and those secret arts passed down through generations were no obstacles at all. “Every child has an ideal version of themself.” Yinhe came to Tokyo with a five-hundred-thousand-yuan breach-of-contract bill from the Suzuki Group and the weight of her fans’ expectations, only to discover that this place was nothing like what Utau had told her. You call those four-armed brutes, volcano monsters that spew lava, and brains that specialize in driving corpses “big bad sweethearts”? But it’s all right. Even in the depths of the eighteenth level of hell, an idol can still bring love and hope. That’s what professionalism means! So let’s do this, my dear friends! Whether you’re cursed spirits, Brain, the King of Curses, or the Dark Organization 1234, open your hearts and let me take a look! ★Reader’s Guide 1.
