I'm the Cruel Male Supporting Character in a Dragon-Pride Novel

Yu Jiao was born lucky. Though his birth parents abandoned him at birth, the kind-hearted master of the Hehuan Sect soon found him and raised him. At twenty, he fell in love with Guan Yangyu, the foremost swordsman, who was said to be the reincarnation of a Sword Immortal, and they became cultivation partners. His life was smooth sailing.

With Guan Yangyu as his partner, Yu Jiao advanced all the way from Foundation Establishment to Nascent Soul without even trying.

On Yu Jiao's hundredth birthday, Guan Yangyu brought home a six-year-old boy from somewhere and told him to call Yu Jiao "Martial Uncle."

Just as Yu Jiao began to wonder if the boy was Guan Yangyu's illegitimate child, memories from his previous life swept over him, wiping away all his doubts.

It turned out this was just a book that had been abandoned before its ending.

In the book, Yu Jiao was a Supreme Yin Divine Body capable of refining an ancient treasured sword, while Guan Yangyu and the six-year-old boy, Guan Yi, both possessed Sword Immortal Dao Souls.

To give the righteous side even the slightest advantage, Guan Yangyu did not hesitate to use the life of an ordinary stranger, Yu Jiao, to forge the treasured sword.

In the book, Guan Yangyu even gave up his own life to make Guan Yi hate the Demon Realm, so that the two Sword Immortal Dao Souls could merge into one.

After the death of her beloved husband, Yu Jiao, who had been entrusted with the Dao Soul, came to hate Guan Yi. He hated that Guan Yangyu had died instead of having the Dao Soul inside Guan Yi refined.

Blinded by hatred, Yu Jiao tormented Guan Yi in every way. Later, after Guan Yi grew powerful, he took revenge by torturing Yu Jiao and refining him into an ancient treasured sword.

But Yu Jiao, now awakened to his memories, thought both brothers were despicable.

What a load of nonsense, these so-called Sword Immortal Dao Souls. They were all just lying scumbags. The sweet words they spoke were nothing but snake tongues meant to deceive people, and one careless moment could leave you dead in a snake's jaws.

Yu Jiao seethed with hatred.

Note:

1. Guan Yangyu and Guan Yi are the same person, and they will merge later.

2. The pursuing-his-wife-to-the-crematorium trope, but the love interest will not change.

3. In the early chapters, Yu Jiao and Guan Yi are enemies, and things may even come down to life or death.

Theme: Strive for a better future, and believe that you can overcome adversity.
