What Could a Little Zombie Possibly Want to Do Wrong?

Xu Xu is a corporate drone. Working 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., six days a week, is the norm, and sometimes he works around the clock. He gives his all, just to pay off his mortgage as soon as possible. The moment the tunnel collapsed, all Xu Xu could think was, "It's over. All the money I've spent on this house over the years is probably down the drain." When he woke again, he heard screams ringing in his ears. Everyone was running for their lives. Xu Xu instinctively ran along with them, even losing one of his shoes. He fell countless times, but each time stubbornly got back up and kept running... Xu Xu got separated from the rest of the group. His throat was parched. Dragging his heavy body along, Xu Xu headed to a pond for a drink. The water clearly reflected a ghastly pale face, fangs, claws, and a head of dry, straw-like hair. "A ghost! A ghost!" Terrified, Xu Xu ran for his life, scrambling along on all fours. Splash! He fell to the ground again. Hidden in the bushes, Xiao Wenqu aimed at his prey, finger on the trigger, a cold glint in his eyes. Well, isn't this the fiance who cheated on him? Setting: The apocalypse, where zombies and ability users awaken at the same time. (Not a typical zombie story; the novel contains many original worldbuilding elements.) A picky zombie bottom who can only sate his hunger with the top's blood VS an insanely powerful top who can take down ordinary zombies with one punch, but gets instantly turned to dust by the bottom (not really). Theme: Face hardship without fear, forge ahead through every obstacle, and take control of your own fate
