Reborn as the Disabled Marshal's Child Bride Egg (Interstellar)

The Imperial Marshal, Lin Yuan, was gravely wounded in a fierce battle against interstellar dragon pirates. Seventy percent of his body was burned by the dragons' mucus, one eye was blind, and both legs were crippled. His longtime OMEGA fiancee called off their engagement and returned the precious ancient dragon egg that had been given to the Lin family when they proposed. She even humiliated him, saying, "If you can hatch a real dragon from this egg, I'll marry you." Lin Yuan held the egg, which looked like a meteorite, and pushed his wheelchair away without a backward glance. Once aboard his aircraft, he coughed up a mouthful of blood, which splattered across the dragon egg. The egg glowed faintly gold. The ancient demon dragon Ao Jiao had injured his soul in a battle with dragons and had no choice but to seal himself inside a dragon egg to recover. He had no idea what had gone wrong, but for tens of thousands of years, he had been unable to hatch. One day, Ao Jiao realized that the egg was finally showing signs of hatching! The proud dragon butted the shell with his head, and it cracked! Hahahahaha! I'm finally out of my shell!!! "Roar~~~" "Meow~~~?? ?!!! Ao Jiao: "!!!" Where was his earth-shaking roar? What was with this tiny kitten's meow? News that Lin Yuan had coughed up blood and died soon spread, and rumors ran wild. Lin Yuan, with his SSS-grade, super-powerful mental strength, had been crippled. The old marshal was getting on in years, and everyone believed that the Lin family, the most powerful family in the S Empire, was about to fall into decline. Some people even claimed that Lin Yuan wouldn't live to see the Empire's New Year. Even if he survived, they said, he would be nothing but a cripple for the rest of his life. A month passed, then two, then half a year... The people of the S Empire were astonished to discover that their crippled marshal, Lin Yuan, had stood up again. Not only that, his once-unrivaled looks had returned, and his mental strength was even more terrifying than before! His former OMEGA fiancee went to see Lin Yuan, her eyes red. She said her family had forced her to end the engagement. "I know you hate me, and I don't expect you to forgive me. I only hope you'll give me another chance, let me take care of you." Lin Yuan replied coldly, "No need. I have Jiaojiao with me. That's enough." The former OMEGA fiancee stared at the ugly, unidentifiable pet sitting on Lin Yuan's shoulder: ??? The people of the Empire noticed that wherever the marshal went, there was an ugly little creature perched on his shoulder. Lin Yuan's subordinates said expressionlessly, "That's not all. Our marshal even brings the ugly little thing along when he operates a mecha. He's so afraid it'll get hungry or cold, and treats the little thing more gently than a wife!" Ao Jiao went berserk! You're ugly! Your whole family is ugly!! I'm a dragon!!! A dragon!!! Lin Yuan stroked the little dragon on his shoulder, which had suddenly gone wild, and gently brushed its tail with his fingertip. "Jiaojiao isn't ugly. Jiaojiao is the most beautiful." He shot a cold glance at his subordinates. Ao Jiao lifted his chin. Hmph! At least you have good taste! All that spirit power I used to heal you wasn't wasted! The subordinates thought: They were the cream of the Empire's military, and countless OMEGAs had fought for the chance to marry them. How could they be no match for one ugly-cute little dragon? One day, Imperial Marshal Lin Yuan discovered that his pet, Jiaojiao, had disappeared! He sent the entire force out to search. Suddenly, he received a call from his former fiancee: "Marshal, help, help me! Your pet, your pet has gone crazy!! Marshal, help me!" Lin Yuan rushed over. A beautiful young man with dark eyes and pearly white teeth, so lovely he was beyond compare, stood on his bed. The young man had one foot on his former fiancee's head. "Anyone who dares to covet my pet will die. Understand?" Pet.Lin.Yuan: ?? Ao Jiao: I'll secretly transform, then dazzle everyone.
