A Deity's Tracking Diary

An Sheng's health begins to deteriorate. She has five years left to live.

Surely there's a way to survive somewhere in this vast universe?

After saying goodbye to her family, she sets off alone.

A space storm sweeps her into an uninhabited zone. When she wakes again on a silver beach blanketed in moonlight, a dazzlingly beautiful man who looks almost unreal has rescued her.

The consciousness of this planet, which has never welcomed intelligent life, fixes its gaze on a human for the very first time.

He says, "Will you be my partner?"

The planet's consciousness can certainly cure her, but the price is everything he has, except his life.

An Sheng is afraid to die. She can cry while blowing the heads off star-beasts with cannon fire, but as she looks into the man's beautiful eyes, she slowly shakes her head.

If her survival comes at the cost of leaving him gravely wounded, she'd rather never have set off.

Unexpectedly, the man says nothing and gives up everything he has to bring her back to life.

He lies battered beside the bed, smiling up at her. His looks are gone, and his voice is hoarse. "Now, will you be my partner?"

[Devoted hound x insecure heroine] I will use all my warmth to heal you.

(The male lead is a shape-shifting deity, so he can capture the heroine's consciousness and transform into all kinds of forms based on her somewhat unreasonable imaginings, including but not limited to a mermaid, a great angel, and an adorable cat beastman.)
