Lin Nuo transmigrates into a tragic romance novel.

The tragic romance is between her parents, while she and her many siblings are a bunch of pitiful little cabbages, left at the Royal Academy to fend for themselves. Later, the future Grand Secretary takes them all out in one fell swoop, leaving them with a miserable fate.

To change the ending, daily life at the Royal Academy takes a turn:

The future tyrant, her big brother, softens his expression. "All right. We'll do as Nuo Nuo says."

Facing her second brother, who loves to play and acts like a tyrant, Lin Nuo plants herself in front of the people coming to punish him and defends him. "My second brother is the kindest, best brother in the world. He would never hit anyone."

The future wastrel, her second brother, feels his heart soften. He threatens everyone behind her back: "Anyone who bullies Nuo Nuo from now on is picking a fight with me."

Facing all the future nobles, officials, and young ladies, Lin Nuo clenches one fist and raises it beside her ear, declaring firmly, "As classmates, we should help and support one another and never abandon anyone! Remember, our motto is..."

Her classmates all shout in unison: "Never give up, never leave anyone behind!"

The future Grand Secretary, Gu Xingyuan, notices that the willful, spoiled little girl has changed. She's gentle and polite, adorably sweet, and smiles at everyone as beautifully as moonlight. Everyone, that is, except him. She keeps avoiding him.

Gu Xingyuan: ????

At last, unable to bear the thunderous pounding of his heart, he blocks her at the door and asks the question that has puzzled him for so long.

"You smile at everyone. What about me?"

"We're all classmates. Didn't we agree never to give up or leave anyone behind?"
