Back to Sixteen

Looking back on her youth, Xu Yuan feels she has three major regrets:

First, she focused on romance in college and failed to get into grad school.

Second, after starting work, she was busy preparing for grad school and didn't make any money.

Third, after ten years of struggling, she realized she had no home in a first-tier city.

She spent the best years of her life doing the wrong things at the wrong times, and never turned back.

Xu Yuan: How the hell was that my fault?

Actually, she has one more regret: the year she graduated from middle school, her family was caught up in a demolition project, but they missed out on the payout. Other people got houses and money, while her family only got 20,000 yuan for refusing to move. The reason was that her dad couldn't bear to pay the 500-yuan transfer fee.

If she could do it all over again, she'd definitely convince her dad: Transfer the house into your name!

When she opens her eyes again, she sees her mother happily pulling out a stack of money. "This is the compensation they gave us."

Xu Yuan: ...Even being reborn, I'm still one step behind everyone else!
