[ABO] Being a Beta Is So Hard

The main story is complete~

Bai Shi has always been pretty glad he's a beta. Unlike alphas and Omegas, betas don't have things like compatibility rates or heats, and there's no such thing as a lifelong mark. That was until the friends around him gradually began to present as something else...

The Bai Shi in everyone else's eyes: a beta known as a "walking Omega detector." Ever since he reached the age when people start presenting, every beta who shares a room with him turns into an Omega. Even an alpha he spent a lot of time with was eventually discovered to be an Omega in disguise. He's someone admired by betas, feared by alphas, and dreaded by Omegas.

Bai Shi, whose friends keep turning into Omegas and rubbing their relationships in his face: Emmmmm, why is it so hard to be an ordinary beta?

A cold and stern top who turns into a crybaby for his bottom vs. a clueless bottom

ABO setting, with secondary genders presenting between the ages of 0 and 10. (This is the revised version. I suddenly realized it differed from my outline QAQ.)

An alternate setting. The laws and other details are all things I made up at random, so they may be a little extreme. There are occasional bits of interstellar fiction mixed in, though the main characters probably won't get too involved.

Theme: A sweet, whimsical idea
