An Average International Student Gets Caught in a Black-and-Red Shura Field

I’m Lin Zhiqiu, an ordinary recent graduate who studied abroad. On my first day as a full-time factory employee, I was suddenly thrown onto a project team researching the APTX series of drugs. Where on earth have I ended up? I immediately sensed trouble. But I still joined the research team. After all, the person coordinating the project with me was my one and only, Scotch. Sigh, I’ve been blinded by beauty. My bias is just too captivating. He went to such lengths to recruit me, so he must have a plan. I absolutely cannot let him down. Of course, I did think something was a little off. Because I also ran into him at a mixer with the police academy students, not just at work. Considering how wildly the author of Detective Conan likes to do things, this kind of development isn’t impossible. After all, my bias’s childhood friend can work three jobs at once. What’s wrong with my bias working part-time while studying and building his career? He’s just that amazing! * I have to admit, my bias is incredibly capable at his job. He diligently plays two roles at once, and his acting is superb. I refuse to be outdone, so I enthusiastically play along with every one of his performances. Then one day, while my bias and I were cuddling sweetly in the middle of our not-quite-a-relationship, I saw another face just like the one beside me in the shadows of a corner. The person was holding the gift I had given my bias the day before. Help! How can there be two of him in this world? * Reader’s guide: 0. Formerly titled A Japanese Returnee Office Worker’s Desperate Fight for Survival Between the Red and Black Worlds / The Office Worker Who Was Forced to Become a Beika Town Detective / The Office Worker Who Wants to Quit the Karasuma Group Again Today. The title may change as I adjust the outline, but it’s the same story underneath. 1. An office-worker-if story set in the neighboring Beika Town Cooking Shop. The heroine’s parents are alive, and the police academy squad survives. The timeline plays out of order, with random time periods, so you might even see seven-year-old Conan and ten-year-old Shinichi in the same scene. 2. I’m working hard to build up a backlog! I hope to start posting soon! 3. Too untalented to quit but too obsessed to stop. I’m going for something exciting. The pairing is Hiromitsu, definitely. Theme: Ordinary people also have the right to choose the life they want.
