Sakuragawa Shin, a sorcerer from the countryside of Aomori, was mercilessly teased by his senior the very first time they met.

That was, until after they defeated Ryomen Sukuna, when Sakuragawa Shin's body suddenly turned before his eyes into countless ghostly blue fireflies, and the hand he reached out against his will could no longer grasp him.

As his soul neared its end, Sakuragawa Shin, usually so expressionless, gave him an unbearably gentle smile and said softly, "Senior Gojo, I love you."

In that instant, Gojo Satoru finally remembered that he had once died, and understood that the feeling that had troubled him for so many years was called love.

Love is the most profound and twisted curse. With his love, he had cursed Sakuragawa Shin, forcibly keeping him in this world.

Yet when Sakuragawa Shin awoke from the endless darkness, he had lost all his memories and become like a blank sheet of paper.

Sakuragawa Shin looked in bewilderment at the man who had awakened him. The other man claimed to be his husband and even produced a marriage contract as proof.

Sakuragawa Shin had no choice but to believe him. After all, without daily replenishment of yang energy, he couldn't turn from a spirit into a physical body.

"What exactly are we to each other?"

"We're accomplices who escaped the Reaper's scythe. Not even death can take you away from me."
