[The Grave Robbers' Chronicles] The Sickly Sword Immortal

·

Sword Immortal Yun Wangchuan shattered the void with a single strike, but something went wrong as he ascended, sending him to another world: the world of Grave Robbers' Chronicles. There, he crossed paths with Wu Xie, who was fleeing through a tomb.

Yun Wangchuan promptly collapsed, coughing up blood.

Wu Xie, now saddled with a sickly beauty, slowly formed a question mark above his head. Had he just been scammed?

Gradually, Yun Wangchuan realizes that descending into tombs with Wu Xie or Zhang Qiling, both blessed with great fortune, can cure his long-standing frailty. Thus begins his tomb-robbing life, smiling while he coughs up blood.

Wu Xie also realizes that this man who's latched onto him shouldn't be called Yun Wangchuan. He should be called Yun Daiyu. He's always coughing up blood, yet insists on following them into tombs to see the zongzi. That's what Wu Xie always thought, until Yun Wangchuan drew his sword...

Zhang Qiling stares into space. Yep, adorable.

Pangzi babbles away. Yep, making snarky comments.

Standing amid the ruins, Yun Wangchuan coughs up blood, smiles faintly, and says weakly, "Tianzhen, I think I need you to protect me right now."

Wu Xie: ...Could you put your sword away first? The blood from the zongzi you cut down and all the dust from the huge pile of rubble that came crashing down got all over us. But look at you, still dressed in white, pristine and spotless!

Sword Immortal

Everyone says Yun Wangchuan has two things: an inexplicable illness, and unmatched beauty.

That is, until the battle between immortals and demons. Yun Wangchuan covers his mouth with a handkerchief and coughs up blood, then draws his sword the next moment. His sword energy is like frost, cutting through autumn grass, and everything in its path falls.

That day, the setting sun was as red as blood, staining the sky and earth. The survivors watched Yun Wangchuan calmly sheathe his sword, slowly take out a handkerchief, and continue coughing blood. They fell silent.

Later, everyone called Yun Wangchuan the Sword Immortal in the Clouds.
