The Kind of Demon Lord Destined to Be Defeated by the Hero in an Adventure Story

After graduating from university, Rong Xu got his first job: transmigrating to another world to play the kind of demon king destined to be defeated by the hero.

His duties included, but weren't limited to: sending little monsters to give the hero experience, kidnapping princesses to make sure the hero hated him, building a demon king's castle, sending mid-level bosses to give the hero experience, doing his best to raise the hero's level, and finally putting on a convincing performance as he was defeated by the hero.

Once he completed the job, Rong Xu would earn a fortune and return to Blue Star to live the dull life of a rich man.

After transmigrating, Rong Xu was full of enthusiasm. Looking forward to a wonderful life ahead, he applied himself diligently to his work.

The hero is naturally laid-back and doesn't want to go adventuring?

Rong Xu plays the role of life coach.

The hero is weak at the start and easily gets into danger?

Rong Xu carefully sends monsters just a little weaker than the hero to help him gain experience.

Rong Xu carefully builds the demon king's castle while following the plot. At last, the day of the final battle arrives.

Rong Xu: "Hero, you've finally come..."

Hero: "So you're the kind person who's been helping me along the way! Your Majesty, I heard so many stories about your wisdom and kindness on my journey. The people around here adore you! It's an honor to meet you! I heard your country is threatened by the demons. I'll help you defeat the wicked demon king! Now, please tell me how to get to the demon king's castle."

Rong Xu: "??? Wait, this is the demon king's castle. I'm the demon king..."

Hero: "Haha, what a joke! Do you think I'm not strong enough yet, and you're worried I'll be in danger if I go to the demon king's castle now? You're so kind! Don't worry, I'll prove I'm the strongest hero in the world!"

Rong Xu: "??? I really am the demon king. Hurry up and defeat me! It's quitting time. A wonderful life starts with refusing to work overtime!!!"

Hero: "Your Majesty, you're so kind and so funny. May you and your kingdom live forever!"
