I Love You, I'm Just Pretending

[The cover features Pei Xiao. I want to write this one too!] Cheng Yan and Pei Xiao got together as soon as they started their first year of college. Less than half a year later, they broke up because their values didn't align. Three years after graduating, Cheng Yan saw Pei Xiao again and discovered that the other man still loved him deeply and had been waiting for him all along... If Cheng Yan hadn't accidentally overheard Pei Xiao chatting with a friend, he might have believed him. It took seven years apart for Cheng Yan to learn for the first time: His first boyfriend was actually a drama king. Whenever someone confessed to Pei Xiao, he would say, "There's already someone I like. His name is Cheng Yan. He won't talk to me anymore, but I still can't let him go." His expression and manner were perfectly on point. Anyone would think he was devoted to Cheng Yan. But when Pei Xiao saw Cheng Yan, he said, "Hey, handsome. Who are you? How do you know my name? How about we exchange WeChat IDs? You're totally my type." Cheng Yan: ... Keep pretending. Go on, keep pretending! Not wanting to be a prop in Pei Xiao's act, Cheng Yan decided to play along to the very end. He never expected that, as they kept acting, he would actually end up with Pei Xiao. The day Cheng Yan got his marriage certificate, he saw the smug look on Pei Xiao's face and finally realized he'd fallen right into Pei Xiao's trap. The happiness he owed Pei Xiao from their youth would take the rest of his life to repay. #YouThinkILikeYou?ActuallyItsAllAnAct!# #YouThinkIDontLikeYouAnymore?ThatsAnActToo!# - Both the top and bottom are drama kings, and every chapter has a twist. - A story about two people acting and testing each other, then ending up with a happy ending!
