Space-Time Jump Syndrome

What makes her angrier than finding out her ex cheated is that the woman he cheated with stole her design, and her ex just smiles nonchalantly and says, "Be good. How much do I owe you? I'll pay her debt for her." Lu Chaoyun slapped him, and dumped him too. She wished she had never dated Jun Shen. The next day, she opened her eyes and found herself back on the day he had confessed to her. Sophomore year, the height of summer, everything was as it should be. The air was thick with the scent of gardenias, and Jun Shen's handsome smile was sincere. Lu Chaoyun finally got to turn him down. A day later, she returned to her original timeline. Jun Shen was still her ex, but the time they started dating had changed. Half a month later, she was back in the spring of her seventh year. Then came twelve, fifteen... And seventeen. His cool, striking features, composed and thoughtful manner, and clothes so plain they were almost shabby. He was her high school tutor, and a few years later, he became her boss. On a whim, Lu Chaoyun decided to tease him by confessing, "Teacher, I like you." Still unfazed, he replied, "Student-teacher relationships are forbidden." Lu Chaoyun kept teasing him. "Then when I finish my college entrance exams, if my score is good enough to get into S University, you have to say yes, Teacher." As expected, he ignored her. Yan Kefe was just that kind of old-fashioned, strict, but upright person. That's why Lu Chaoyun felt comfortable joking around with him. Back in her original timeline, Lu Chaoyun had just finished work. She was standing outside the company when her boss came out too. The man was impeccably dressed in a suit, his gaze even more indifferent than before. Lu Chaoyun was about to greet him politely when he stopped in front of her, his cool expression melting into a faint smile. "Here to pick me up after work?" He ruffled her hair, then kissed her lightly on the cheek. "We're getting engaged next week, and you're still so clingy." Lu Chaoyun: ...??? * Light fantasy. The female lead has an ex-boyfriend.
