After the Crown Princess Got a Glitched Golden Finger

After opening her eyes, Meng Yi finds herself the Crown Princess, despite never having met the Crown Prince.

All of the capital is betting on when the Crown Prince will visit his wife. Meng Yi can't be bothered with their gossip, so she stages her escape and moves into a new residence.

A wounded young man lives across the street.

Meng Yi sighs and can't help saving him.

She never expects that, after some time, the young man will want to take her home.

Meng Yi agrees. Then, looking at the familiar residence, she feels dazed. "You're the Crown Prince."

Everyone knows that the Noble Consort of the Xia dynasty controls the court. She's always wanted to install her own son as emperor.

The Crown Princess was forced upon the Crown Prince by the Noble Consort, and when the Crown Prince fails to return to the residence for a long time, the Noble Consort finally summons Meng Yi.

Meng Yi had planned to be the perfect slacker and keep her head down until she could leave the palace, but her golden finger goes awry.

Before the palace banquet, the Noble Consort gives Meng Yi a hard time. Meng Yi means to brush it off with a self-deprecating remark, but instead the Noble Consort blurts out her own secrets.

At the banquet, a palace maid tries to take her life by pushing her into the water. Meng Yi only wants to dodge, but the maid falls into the water instead. After the banquet, the Empress tries to give her a hard time. Meng Yi touches the Empress's hand, hoping to express her sincerity, but the Empress starts coughing up blood and collapses.
