#The Demon Lord Always Kidnaps the Wrong Person#

After transmigrating into a book, Xie Chiyuan became the main villain in a tragic danmei novel.

In the original story, he fell for the protagonist and couldn’t have him, so he made things difficult for him time and again. He even abducted him to the Demon Palace, intending to forcibly take the protagonist as his consort.

After transmigrating into the book, Xie Chiyuan thought of the protagonist’s title as the world’s most beautiful man, then considered that he, the mighty Demon Lord, already had power and status. All he lacked was a beauty.

So he had no intention of changing the plot.

And yet… Xie Chiyuan forgot that he had face blindness.

Following the original story’s description, he planned to keep abducting the protagonist and bringing him to the Demon Realm.

But the first time he tried to kidnap the protagonist at the foot of a mountain,

Xie Chiyuan grabbed the protagonist’s icy, taciturn senior brother and dressed him in wedding robes.

The second time, he tried to kidnap the protagonist from a teahouse.

Xie Chiyuan grabbed the protagonist’s delicate confidant and dressed him in wedding robes.

The third time, he tried to kidnap the protagonist on the battlefield between the righteous and demonic factions.

Xie Chiyuan caught the protagonist’s “archenemy”… and dressed him in wedding robes.

It wasn’t until the fourth time that Xie Chiyuan finally got the protagonist.

The radiant, moonlike protagonist could take no more:

Weren’t you supposed to be in love with me?

Xie Chiyuan: …

A month later, having learned his lesson the hard way, Xie Chiyuan decided he didn’t want a beauty anymore and would focus on being a cold and aloof Demon Lord.

Who could have guessed that all the people he’d mistakenly kidnapped before would refuse to let him off the hook…

"Reborn, First I’ll Pay My Respects to a Background Extra"

Wei Xiu lost his job.

One day, he woke up and ran into a System.

System: Hey, want to follow the plot? We’re the Background Extra System. The story takes place at the end of a novel. You just have to cross the street as part of the crowd while the protagonist makes his final appearance, and you’ll receive a fifty-million-yuan bonus.

A task this easy?

Wei Xiu eagerly agreed.

Who knew that after the story ended, just as he’d finished crossing at the traffic light and was about to go home for dinner,

the male protagonist, who had died across the street, would suddenly be reborn.

Their eyes met, and the protagonist immediately decided Wei Xiu was the mastermind behind it all.

Then he clung to Wei Xiu like a vengeful ghost.

Wei Xiu, who was only following the background extra plot: …?

Damn it.

What a scam of a System!

It said he’d appear after the story ended, but it never said the protagonist could be reborn at the end.

Pay up!

"I Guide People Through a Strange World" is an unfinished cosmic-horror comic.

The author described a series of stories set after the resurgence of anomalies, when ancient horrors awakened and all kinds of people with supernatural abilities stepped onto the stage to show what they could do.

But it began with a bang and ended in a whimper.

The protagonists inexplicably died during a strange incident in their showdown with the villain, like a meteor suddenly falling from the sky without warning.

Just as readers were cursing the abrupt ending and swearing at the author’s entire family,

the comic quietly updated with a new chapter.

The popular male lead who had just died was reborn.

Readers: …?

The reborn male lead opened his eyes and locked gazes with an ordinary office worker waiting at a crosswalk for the traffic light.

The next second, amid the stunned silence, the male lead latched onto him.

Readers: …?

Damn, what does this mean?

Wait, could it be… this ordinary-looking office worker is actually the mastermind, and only appears after the male lead dies?

Not sure. Let’s wait and see.

Wei Xiu: No, this is a huge injustice!

Convinced that the popular character Jin Lin was out of his mind, Wei Xiu refused to give up on the fifty-million-yuan bonus and appealed to the System every day.

The System was fed up, so it decided to give him another chance.

Starting over, Wei Xiu decided to “pass by” a different person this time.

But the second male lead, who was supposed to exit the story, was reborn too!

And latched onto him again.

The third time, the fourth time, the fifth time… The System watched Wei Xiu play a background extra several times and somehow create a whole bunch of reborn people: …

At last, it was time for the final background-extra plot.

Wei Xiu was tired. He gave up and lay flat on the lawn in the park.

Ha, surely no one’s going to be reborn this time, right?

The next second, he turned his head and met a pair of unfamiliar eyes, smiling as if they knew a secret.

Wei Xiu: …?

As the comic’s only evil god, Xie Hui often hid behind the scenes, manipulating everyone like puppets.

But recently, he noticed that the supernatural ability users who were supposed to follow the clues he laid out had gone off script.

After waking up, those suddenly changed ability users all inexplicably went after another person: an ordinary-looking office worker.

Interesting.

After seeing it happen over and over, Xie Hui raised an eyebrow and turned his gaze toward the man, intrigued.

The office worker, now watched by the whole world: …!

Readers who thought the story was over: …?

Wait.

Who on earth is he?!

PS: I really am just an ordinary background extra! A laid-back office worker bottom with an unclear personality VS a pleasure-seeking evil god top who says, “Guess whether I believe you.”

Theme: Even in adversity, keep hope in your heart
