Jiang Taotao is a little gluttonous beast. After greedily chewing up Guanyin's purple bamboo, she's punished by being sent down to the mortal realm and into the body of a four-and-a-half-year-old human child. The child is an online celebrity whose human-trafficker parents force her to livestream herself eating. Her weight shoots up to ninety pounds, and she becomes so round and chubby that she can barely move. In the end, she dies from eating too much, her stomach bursting with food.

"Crunch, crunch..."

After waking up covered in dirt, the little gluttonous beast climbs out of her coffin. Following the smell of food, she finds her way home and devours every dish, bones and plates included. She licks her paws, then looks innocently at the two human traffickers, who are too terrified to move. "Auntie, Uncle, do you have anything else to eat? If not, can Taotao have a bite of you?"

To avoid being eaten by the "zombie" Jiang Taotao, the unscrupulous traffickers have no choice but to tremble as they offer her delicious food. Eventually she drains their savings, and they flee in the middle of the night. With no one left to "make offerings," the little gluttonous beast has to go out and catch ghosts to eat so she won't go hungry. Before long, everyone reveres her as a young master, and she accidentally ends up on her big brother's film set. He takes her home!

Her billionaire father: "Taotao, you don't have to work so hard catching ghosts anymore. Daddy has money. Whatever you want to eat, we'll buy it!"

Her gourmet mother: "Taotao, Mommy can cook. If there's something we can't buy, I'll make it for you!"

Big Brother, Second Brother, and Third Brother: "Taotao, we have time. If there's a snack you want that we can't buy and Mom can't make, we'll find it for you!"

Jiang Taotao: "Wow, going through tribulations in the mortal realm is so haaaappy! Taotao wants to stay another five hundred years! (^O^)/"

Synopsis: Xu Jiaojiao is told her fate marks her as a lone star of misfortune. The Xu family sends her away at birth and replaces her with a fake heiress whose fate promises good fortune.

At seventeen, she is brought back into the family. At her biological mother's urging, she drops out of school and enters the entertainment industry, where she's given a top-student persona. When that falls apart, the entire internet turns against her. After her family squeezes every last bit of value out of her, she dies in a car "accident" arranged by the fake heiress.

Given another chance at life, Xu Jiaojiao unexpectedly binds herself to a celebrity top-student System!

Xu Jiaojiao, who was just about to quit the industry and study, brightens up and signs a dating show contract with a flourish, thinking she can still play it safe.

And so viewers see...

As the male and female guests meet for the first time, enthusiastically introducing themselves and competing for camera time, Xu Jiaojiao quietly sits alone in a corner memorizing the Analects!

As the guests show off to impress their chosen partners, sparring openly and behind the scenes, Xu Jiaojiao sits calmly amid the undercurrents, leisurely sipping a drink with six walnuts while memorizing English vocabulary.

During the farm work segment, viewers mock her for using books to put on a show and avoid work. But the next second, Xu Jiaojiao gets up and harvests every corn cob in the task area. While the other guests huff and puff through their work, she picks up her textbook again, cool and unruffled, and uses a cornstalk to draw function problems in the dirt!

Seeing Xu Jiaojiao become the show's focus with her "courting disaster" antics, the fake heiress is furious and teams up with the male guests to pick a fight.

The sharp-tongued rich second-generation playboy, who is only dating the fake heiress for fun: A country bumpkin like you will never become a phoenix!

Xu Jiaojiao, who can read minds: I don't know if I'm a phoenix, but you're an illegitimate child born to a mistress pretending to be the legitimate heir. Do you think your adoptive mother will throw you out when she finds out?

The devoted young star of historical romance dramas, who has already joined hands with his fake couple: Jiaojiao, you always show up between us for no reason. Are you trying to steal my partner?

Xu Jiaojiao: I was just kindly warning Lan-jie. But you pretend to be in a real relationship with your on-screen partner, flirt with other female guests off-camera, and text your girlfriend. Isn't that cheating?

The popular young star who joined the dating show to repay the fake heiress's kindness: Miss Xu, Qianqian cares so much about you, yet you always speak coldly to her. Isn't that too heartless of you as her older sister?

Xu Jiaojiao: You can't even tell a benefactor from an enemy, and you're meddling in other people's business? You think Xu Qianqian saved you from that rigging accident? She actually tampered with the equipment beforehand to hurt you!

On a single dating show, the fake heiress repeatedly messes up and loses popularity, while Xu Jiaojiao becomes an overnight sensation!

Some haters cling to her old top-student persona, only to discover that Xu Jiaojiao has climbed all the way up from the bottom of her class and finally made it into Tsinghua University with the highest score in the entire city!

So Xu Jiaojiao becomes an overnight sensation. At the Best Actress awards ceremony, the host asks her to share her thoughts on winning. In a hurry to get back and revise her thesis before her System's deadline, Xu Jiaojiao leaves them with just four words: Study hard!

Theme: Maintaining a harmonious, happy family.
