After transmigrating into Arkham Asylum, and not as part of the Suicide Squad, Cheryl finds herself facing a total sentence of 200 years. She has a serious headache.
It seems she can’t earn time off her sentence by fighting crime and doing good deeds for the people of Gotham. Her only option is to set her sights on the villains locked up in the asylum with her.
“Breaking out? Count me in.”
To get by in Gotham, she also needs a team like the Justice League or the Avengers. Sure, it’s a knockoff, and the gap between them is huge, but with enough advertising, they can make a name for themselves overseas too.
So Cheryl joins the breakout squad and hits it off with Gotham’s most heinous criminals.
One certain Bat is unmoved: “Go ahead and escape. If I can’t catch you, I lose.”
One certain billionaire: “Escape all you want. If he catches you, I lose.”
Cheryl makes a successful escape and gains her freedom, but she always seems to have a few tails she can’t shake. They follow her wherever she goes. “You’re all chasing me so relentlessly. Are you trying to leave your own alliance and join my team of villains?”
