Bai Ran had to start living on his own with his little sister at just eighteen. He rented a place, and next door lived a single mother with a nine-year-old elementary school student.

The first time the kid saw Bai Ran, he called him "Uncle." But after Bai Ran got settled in and was invited over for dinner, the kid's eyes lit up as he served him food and sweetly called him "Big Brother." From then on, it was "Big Brother" this and "Big Brother" that. He could hardly wait to tuck Bai Ran into his pocket and keep him all to himself.

Many years passed in the blink of an eye. The elementary school student grew up and went to college. When they met again after four years apart, he still curled up on Bai Ran's lap and cried like a little kid.

Bai Ran brought the little stray dog home, never expecting that one moment of weakness would make him impossible to get rid of. He still called him "Big Brother" this and "Big Brother" that, still wishing he could tuck him into his pocket and keep him all to himself.

He pinned him down and kissed him with wild abandon, then let him go and rubbed his cheek against his, smiling. Sweet and innocent, he asked, "Big Brother, don't I taste sweet?"

After the night was over, he shamelessly took advantage of the situation and chuckled, his voice low and satisfied. "Big Brother, thanks for the lesson."

He did the laundry, cooked, looked after the child, and kept the home running smoothly. He was also gentle with Yi Mingxu, his long hair so beautiful that it was hard to tell whether he was a man or a woman.

After waking up from a drunken night, Yi Mingxu stared at the person in his arms, dumbfounded. The poor little boy fluttered his lashes, his eyes red and a suspicious mark showing above his collarbone. Instead, he comforted Yi Mingxu. "It's okay. You just mistook me for Lingling. I don't mind."
