White Tea and Roses

I've walked a very long road, and I've loved a truly wonderful person.

This person was passionate and uninhibited, dazzling as a rose.

Then came a heavy rain. The road turned to mud, and this person drifted farther away.

Passion became desolation; freedom became recklessness.

The rose withered, and the world collapsed.

I seemed to fall into a void and began to question the meaning of life.

Later, I let myself wither for a while, allowing grief to engulf me.

This period will pass. It will eventually pass.

I think I'll walk another very long road, and love another wonderful person.

This person can be lively and bold, gentle and lovely, quiet and romantic, or simply be himself.

I think I'll meet someone like that.

If I don't, I'll become someone like that myself.

Later, the clouds parted and the rain stopped. The sky was clear and the air was fresh.

Later, the moon shone bright, and the Milky Way stretched for miles.
