Reforming the Love-Struck Fools of the Immortal Realm

Synopsis:

After spending a thousand years alone, the Heavenly Emperor grew alarmed as more and more immortal couples appeared in the Immortal Realm.

The Immortal Realm's model worker, Lord Yaori, stopped working nine-to-nine-six after falling in love. He even started slacking off at work, arriving late and leaving early, seriously disrupting the work order and the atmosphere of the Immortal Realm.

The Divine Valley's healer, Fairy Shen, was unable to cure her immortal partner. In a fit of anger, she abandoned medicine for martial arts and became the leader of a demolition squad.

And just as the sweet and naive Immortal Lord Kong Xuan began showing signs of falling in love, the vigilant Heavenly Emperor nipped the budding romance in the bud.

Love makes people stupid. The Immortal Realm's hopeless romantics had to be put in their place. The Heavenly Emperor made a quick calculation and realized that it all stemmed from one person: the Matchmaker.

So the Heavenly Emperor stormed over to the Matchmaker, determined to set his red threads straight.

Matchmaker: I don't tie red threads carelessly. You're insulting my professionalism!

Heavenly Emperor: Heh.

Matchmaker: If you don't believe me, take a look at the red thread on you.

Heavenly Emperor: ...

The Heavenly Emperor was stunned. He hadn't expected the Matchmaker to be so bold as to tie a red thread for him, too.

Even more surprising, the other end of the red thread tied to the Heavenly Emperor himself was wrapped around the Matchmaker's finger.

Heavenly Emperor: I don't believe a word you say! Untie it, now!

Matchmaker: I can't. Just make the best of it.
