Bound in Humility

_

Jiang Meng had disliked Sheng Cong ever since she was little.

She disliked the calluses on his hands, his ragged clothes, his wild, stray-dog attitude, and most of all, the way he looked at her...

Later, Sheng Cong went from being a lowly adopted son of the Sheng family to its head.

By a twist of fate, Jiang Meng, the lofty little princess of the Jiang family, became the envied Mrs. Sheng. Everyone in Wancheng said Sheng Cong spoiled her rotten.

[The vengeful, battered, blood-soaked, thoroughly detestable evil dragon X the righteous, strong-willed, delicate, adored little princess]

Jiang Meng knew that their marriage had been a carefully planned revenge from the very beginning.

The man with a long record of bad behavior had found a new way to tease her every day since they married. Making her cry was his greatest pleasure.

Sheng Cong knew perfectly well that his spoiled little wife had never liked him.

But he still wanted her to stay by his side forever, no matter the cost. He only wanted her to spare him a trace of the love he had never received.

Post-marriage extras:

(1)

Jiang Meng: I've told him so many times that I love him, but he just refuses to believe me. (Getting increasingly agitated.)

Sheng Cong: Someone like me could never make her fall in love with me. She just pities me. QAQ

(2)

Sheng Cong, the stray cat: These are my favorite dried fish and canned fish. You can have them.

Jiang Meng, the little princess: We humans don't eat this. Thanks~

Sheng Cong, sensitive, insecure, and suspicious: *sob* She really doesn't love me.
