Welcome to Happy Town

Chen Zhao had been a jinx since childhood. His mother was a love-struck fool, and his father was a gambling addict. The two of them decided on a whim that life wasn’t worth living, and went off to enjoy themselves.

All that was left was the unlucky Chen Zhao. At three, his family’s old home was seized. At four, he was sent to an orphanage. At seven, he nearly missed out on school.

Things got even more ridiculous as he grew up. His companies either laid him off or went bankrupt.

After losing his job once again, Chen Zhao made a wish: Let me have better luck in my next life.

The next moment, a flash of white light appeared. Instead of his next life, a new world arrived first.

Even after entering the game, Chen Zhao couldn’t shake his unlucky nature.

Other players got golden fingers that boosted their stamina and endurance.

Chen Zhao got [Take a Souvenir Photo with the Dungeon Boss].

Was this the same trick as drawing the boss’s name at the annual party and getting stuck taking a photo with them?

Everyone thought this jinx wouldn’t last three days, but Chen Zhao survived three days in the town, then another three days.

Eyeballs hopping all over the ground, hair writhing in the sky: these friendly NPCs made Chen Zhao, who had been treated coldly all his life, feel the warmth of home.

Chen Zhao thought this place was great. Food and drink were free, lodging was included, and everyone was so welcoming. He had a home!
