[Republican Era] Wedding Invitation Street

After I posted the first chapter of this story, I hit a creative block and kept it locked for a long time. I apologize to my readers.

Previously titled The Green Lotus Mirror

There was no "Wedding Invitation Street" during the Republican era. The reason for the title, Wedding Invitation Street, will be revealed in the final chapter.

If you know the history of Wedding Invitation Street and Queen's Pier, you may better understand what I'm trying to express in the first and final chapters.

Original blurb

When golden wind and jade dew meet once, it surpasses countless encounters in the mortal world.

A chance meeting, a flirtation, then a stirring of passion and a stirring of the heart.

Their love was brief, so brief that it lasted a lifetime.

Set in Hong Kong during World War II.

A worldly, alluring older woman x an innocent, untainted "child"

The author is trying out a new writing style, deliberately scrambling the timeline. Readers are invited to piece together the full sequence of events for themselves. Perhaps it will make the story more enjoyable.

Theme: Forget the flowers you've planted, start over, and give up on your ideals?
