Blurb: The Port Mafia's infamous heartless hound has lost his memory. When he wakes up in a hospital bed at the Port Mafia hospital, he decides that once his injuries heal, he'll dye his hair. And even if he has to jump off the Port Mafia hospital building and die outside today, he absolutely, positively will not wear that little dress and black coat that belong to Akutagawa. But after he recovers, he plans to work diligently for the Port Mafia and earn money to support his younger sister. That's when Akutagawa, blank as a sheet of paper, suddenly realizes something seems wrong with his eyes. He can see what other people are thinking As if they were NPCs, speech bubbles above their heads reveal every thought. #Wait, what's an NPC again?# Cat scratching its head.jpg #Everyone thinks I've lost my memory because I'm heartbroken over the former executive defecting# #I haven't, I didn't, don't make things up# Later, he discovers that he can see all kinds of strange creatures Things with seven eyes and eight legs, or whatever other bizarre shapes you can imagine. Then a certain Mr. Gojo walks by.jpg # Is that a cursed object? Here's a death sentence warning for you# Well, compared to his clothes growing longer and shorter, this stuff doesn't seem like much, does it? Akutagawa adjusts his glasses with his middle finger and takes the cake Rashomon hands him. Thanks to Tuca Hezi for the cover. This Demon Slayer Akutagawa is so cool, sob. Coming soon (I'm not listing the others. If you're interested, check out my author page. And while you're there, please adopt a chubby pigeon.) Since gaining consciousness, Anning the Wanderer has traveled between various parallel universes with a System that lets him draw different abilities. He's made a name for himself across the parallel universes, until one day, the worlds merge Beneath Gotham's night sky, a slender boy waves a magic wand. His clear voice pierces the darkness as a little card shines brightly: "Key imbued with the power of darkness..." At an explosion site in New York, a boy walks out of layers of smoke, the paper in his hand turning into points of light: "Ability: The Solitary Poet." At a crime scene crawling with FBI agents, "There is only one truth!" The boy looks serious as he quickly pinpoints the culprit. Everyone is talking about the newly emerged heroes Gotham's magic boy; Anning: That's me! Metropolis's animal tamer; Anning: That's me! The knife-wielder in Queens; Anning: That's still me! The grumpy, dark-clad guardian: Shut up! Get out of my Gotham! New York's red-and-gold tin can: Thanks for asking. I have no desire to be treated with a chainsaw. FBI: My God, if we didn't have no evidence, we'd think this guy was the Grim Reaper walking around. The Man of Steel: He's so cute (smiles). The little spider in Queens: Oh my God, Izuminokami Kanesada is so cool! Anning: With my secret identities on, I fear nothing. Recommendation time! A fellow author's upcoming novel, featuring Inumaki-senpai: "Have I Won Inumaki-senpai's Heart Today?" by Free Shooter The first time I saw Inumaki-senpai, I wanted to make him mine. Senpai barely speaks, and his high-collared uniform always covers half his face. Only his eyes are visible, innocent and sweet, like a first love straight out of a dream. I found out that senpai only speaks using rice ball fillings, so on the day I confessed, I brought out a whole box of salmon roe. (Salmon roe = "Yes") But he didn't say a word. He just turned and walked away. I ran off in tears, never seeing how red his ears had turned. - Later, I stopped chasing after him. I only wanted to hear him say my name once. #A name is the shortest curse# This time, senpai still said nothing. He simply pulled down his collar zipper and kissed me. #Senpai's words are an endless tenderness# But my dad didn't approve of us after learning about my relationship. I took senpai to meet my family at the Port Mafia, hoping Dad would see how wonderful he was. But then Certain curse user: Please let me marry your daughter. Boss Mori: ...All right. Me: ??? Content warnings: 1. I'll try to update daily once the novel begins. 2. Any out-of-character writing is on me. This is my take on Akutagawa, and his characterization may fall apart so badly even his mom wouldn't recognize him. 3. The author's logic is dead. Please go easy on the lore experts. I write just to entertain myself. 4. The timeline and original plot have been heavily altered. Theme: If you sink into the abyss, no one can show you the way. But if you shine in the dark, every star becomes a signpost.
