Whoever Wants to Be a Demon Hunter Can Be One

"I thought someone would care about me, until I fell into Hell." After the archangel Michael possessed his body, Adam fell into Hell along with his brother Sam Winchester. The angel told him that Dean had gotten Sam out, while he had been left alone in this place of eternal torment, along with the soul he had already sold. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself back in the past. His mother, Kate, was still alive, not yet killed by the ghoul that came seeking revenge, and he had received a college acceptance letter-- And somehow, Michael's power remained in his body. So much time had passed that he couldn't tell whether this was just another trick by the Lord of Hell, giving him hope only to cruelly snatch it away. He'd had enough! Taking his mother and leaving town, Adam resolved to stay far away from the troublesome Winchester family, preferably never seeing them again. He wasn't a Winchester by blood, and he wasn't going to get involved in the war between Heaven and Hell! To protect Kate, he underwent FBI training and became a federal agent working for the government. He also set out to track down the ghouls who had killed him and Kate. He never expected that, in his first month on the job, he would see his long-lost big brother Dean Winchester in an FBI interrogation room. Well, would you look at that. Was it still too late to change jobs? It was. After all, Sam Winchester, his second big brother, was in the interrogation room next door. Adam gave a weary smile.
