The young Taoist priest Yan Yinian went to a bar for the first time. After losing a game, everyone egged him on to ask someone, "Would you like to grab a late-night snack together?"
Yan Yinian knew that asking a woman was out of the question, so he walked up to a man who had his back turned. The man turned around, and the young priest stammered, "Would you like to eat... eat..."
The man had a distinguished air and fair skin. Hidden in a corner, he looked like a crown prince traveling incognito.
His figure, worthy of an international supermodel, was even more alluring beneath the lights, drawing covetous glances from everyone in the bar. The man arched an eyebrow and looked at Yan Yinian with an amused smile.
"Sure."
Yan Yinian: ??
After sleeping for several hundred years, Rong Tan opened his eyes at last and took a deep breath.
The air still smelled disgustingly foul. Only one scent brought him comfort.
Sitting in the bar, Rong Tan gazed at the reincarnated young Taoist who had fought him for decades and then sealed him away for centuries. His phoenix eyes narrowed as he considered how to take revenge.
And then the boy came right to him.
Human blood reeked. Only his blood smelled sweet.
In his previous life, Rong Tan had merely given in and bitten the boy on the mouth once, and the boy had chased him down like a madman and sealed him away for centuries.
But this life...
The man held a stemmed glass in his hand. The red liquid inside had just been poured from a blood bag.
Watching the young Taoist tremble, Rong Tan swirled the glass brimming with blood...
People often say that to kill a person, you must first break their spirit.
The young Taoist was always going on about benevolence, righteousness, propriety, morality, and keeping himself free of worldly desires.
If he wanted to break his spirit...
Then Rong Tan would make him break his vows.
The man's eyes flashed as their color changed. While the young Taoist was so terrified he could barely think, he spoke in a calm voice:
"Be good and get down."
"You invited me to eat. I'll decide what we're having."

The Perfect Coffin Match
After Jiang Xing died, a male corpse appeared in his coffin.
A lifelong bachelor even in death, he had been paired in a ghost marriage.
For reasons unknown, he could neither enter the cycle of reincarnation nor return to life.
During the day, he could wander among the living. At night, he shared a coffin in a lonely grave with a thoroughly dead male ghost.
Fortunately, the ghost was handsome, and his corpse never decayed. The more Jiang Xing looked at him, the more attractive he seemed. After a while, he even made a rather comfortable body pillow.
Until one day, a passing Taoist priest said that a Soul-Sealing Corpse had been locked inside the coffin.
It had been placed there to suppress the person in the coffin, ensuring that after death he could never enter the cycle of reincarnation and would spend eternity as a lonely ghost.
Jiang Xing flew into a rage and turned dark, trying everything he could to separate himself from the male ghost.
After exhausting every possible method, he actually came back to life!
Reborn among the living, Jiang Xing was a little dazed. This wasn't the world he'd come from, but at least he was alive!
To hell with all that underworld business!
Just as Jiang Xing was preparing to start over as a living person, the Soul-Sealing Corpse appeared again that night!
At midnight, something heavy pressed down on him, leaving him unable to breathe. Jiang Xing woke groggily and saw the Soul-Sealing Corpse who had followed him for five years pinning him down and staring at him.
What? The ghost, who had seemed dead and mindless all this time, had opened his eyes?!
Worse still, the man's eyes, like the depths of hell, were fixed on him. His chilling gaze was even more terrifying than it had been in the coffin!
Jiang Xing shuddered and tried to fight back.
The man easily pinned him beneath him. His dark eyes were icy, his voice ominous. "I've been suppressing you for five years, and now you think you can just leave?"
Jiang Xing's eyes flew open. What? So I was the Soul-Sealing Corpse all along?!
