Ye Jiqing entered the entertainment industry with a heart full of passion, relying on his wealthy family and his powerful husband behind the scenes to smooth the way. Just as the marketing accounts began branding him the "young master," the newcomer accidentally offended a popular Best Actor. The actor's fans blacklisted and mocked him, turning him into someone who couldn't be named. In private, though, this somehow gave rise to all sorts of strange CP fans.
His acting career afterward seemed downright haunted. Even a simple nod or smile from any co-star was called "feeding the shippers," and fan-made CP supertopics sprang up everywhere like mushrooms after rain. Some even couldn't wait to parade their ships right in front of the real people involved!
Ye Jiqing browsed a matchmaking post in total confusion, then held up his phone and asked his husband, "What is all this?"
Mr. Shen took the phone and casually uninstalled the social media app. Calmly, he said, "They're just trying to ride your coattails. Ignore them."
Years later, newly crowned Best Actor Ye Jiqing had both a thriving career and a happy family, yet the fan pairings involving him only grew more intense. At last, he finally understood what all the matchmaking was about. He immediately downloaded a certain social media app, flashed his marriage certificate, and posted: "Taken! Keep your distance!"
Focused on his career, not on public opinion.
A chuunibyou goofball with a very slow-to-react brain, who works hard to earn money and support his uke, X a blunt, outspoken uke striving to become a Best Actor.
A story about two rich second-generation heirs growing up in their own ways, with two parallel career arcs. The career is the main focus, with occasional sweet moments.
Older top, five-year age gap, mutually doting.
Warnings:
1. Both the top and the uke get paired with other people by fans, and this continues throughout the story.
2. Traditional ABO setting. There is a pregnancy plot, but the birth does not happen on-page. The baby arrives at the end of the story.
3. The entertainment industry plot mainly features plays within the story! Plays within the story! Plays within the story! Important things must be said three times!
An unconventional entertainment and business world. I'm not an expert, so please laugh off any mistakes _(:з"∠)_
