An Earthlike Ocean Planet

A sci-fi story born from a wild idea. Planned for next year. Now taking advance reservations and suggestions for the heroine's name.

I haven't decided whether to put it in the Girls' Love, No CP, or Romance category, so I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts.

After humanity establishes interdimensional passageways based on wormhole theory, it officially moves from a technological civilization into a spacefaring one. A competition for control of space unfolds among the nations of the world.

The heroine was a university senior with a background in martial arts and competitive sanda. On the recommendation of her academic advisor, she applies to become a space security officer. After training, she becomes a security officer aboard a spaceship and sets out into space.

Their destination is a habitable planet 500 light-years from Earth. According to surveys, the planet's mass, orbit, rotation, and distance from its star are all similar to Earth's. It has an atmosphere and water, and samples collected by an unmanned spacecraft show jellyfish-like organisms living in the water.

Only after the spaceship reaches the planet do they discover that it is entirely covered in water, with no land at all.

An alien civilization lives in the ocean. As the scientific expedition explores and surveys the planet, the aliens also discover the "extraterrestrials" from Earth.

At the same time, exploration teams from several other technologically advanced nations arrive on the planet.

…

I want to write about space, aircraft carrier platforms on the ocean, and marine life beneath the water. The plot will focus on danger and excitement, and the world I've imagined will be beautiful, with all kinds of wild and whimsical ideas.

Theme: Explore new planets and actively seek out new frontiers. Protect untouched ecosystems as we develop, and find a way to coexist in harmony.
