There are four great joys in life: rain after a long drought, meeting an old friend far from home, passing the imperial exams, and the wedding night!
Mo Shuihan had just experienced one of life's four great joys: passing the imperial exams.
To his surprise, the emperor gave him another: a wedding night!
He had been granted a marriage!
And to none other than the emperor's most beloved Ninth Princess, the Protector of the Nation, Song Xiangxue!
An ordinary person would surely be overjoyed!
But for Mo Shuihan, this was a disaster!
Why?
Because this "he" wasn't that "she"!
Mo Shuihan wasn't a man at all, so how could she share a wedding night with the princess?
Song Xiangxue was known as the most beautiful woman in the Great Jing Dynasty. As the revered Ninth Princess, she was also the emperor's most favored child. How many people dreamed of winning her hand?
Yet the newly appointed top scholar, Mo Shuihan, had the nerve to refuse the imperial marriage in open court!
Song Xiangxue was furious. She pointed a slender finger and declared that Mo Shuihan would be her consort, no matter what!
And so, the Ninth Princess personally chose herself a... female consort!
Mo Shuihan carried a deep-seated grudge and had no choice but to disguise herself as a man and travel to the capital to take the imperial exams. After finally passing as the top scholar, she was stunned by the emperor's marriage decree!
After their wedding, the Ninth Princess came up with one scheme after another to win her consort's heart. To keep her secret hidden, Mo Shuihan had no choice but to grit her teeth and "fight back." With each of them harboring their own intentions, they outwitted one another in a series of hilarious clashes.
As they continued their marital battles, the Ninth Princess's wholehearted devotion gradually melted the ice in Mo Shuihan's heart. But faced with her earth-shattering secret and the injustice done to the more than one thousand people in her town, she had no choice but to suppress her feelings.
But could a famously spoiled and willful princess, cherished by the emperor, really be so easily put off?
Coming soon: Sweet as You
On Su Tian's eighteenth birthday, she got into an argument with her stepmother and went to a bar with some classmates to "broaden her horizons." Somehow, she ended up spending the night with a woman, opening the door to a whole new world. So women could be with women, too!
On her first day at university, her instructor came gliding over. Su Tian froze on the spot. Don't think I won't recognize you just because you're wearing gold-rimmed glasses and looking all serious and refined. You're the scoundrel who slept with me that night!
But the instructor seemed to have completely forgotten what happened that night, and treated her like a total stranger. Yet whenever she said Su Tian's name, her voice carried a faintly teasing, flirtatious lilt. "Su Tian, Su Tian... What a lovely name. So sweet, it makes my heart melt!"
Theme: Love has no gender. It all comes down to whether you've found the right person.
This ending is a bit rushed
I finished reading it with the intention of not giving up halfway. The plot was not precise enough, and Chun Chun forced herself not to jump into the drama... It was very different from the writing style and logic of Proton Aruo. The author has made great progress very quickly. Proton Aruo is still very good-looking.
Can you improve your married life? I feel like it's not perfect enough.
It took me a week to read the whole thing, what can I say? The storyline is a bit too simple, but the writing is fairly smooth. The ending may be happy, but it always feels a bit stiff. Just give some encouragement! Is it not easy to be a collaborator?
This is the first time I see such a beautiful Lily article. I don't feel disgusted, it just makes me feel beautiful.
It's a really good article. I read it in three days. The plot is quite rich and the bickering between the young couple is very interesting.
We all found out that we are pregnant with a girl, but we still use this "him" all the time. It's really ridiculous and embarrassing. I have no desire to watch anymore.
Author, thank you for your story.
The image of the Ninth Princess is really cute. Although her unruly and willful attitude can sometimes cause trouble, she is not an endless torment. I like her so much.
This ending is too sudden
