Who Has Seen a Ghost Dance?

Plot blurb: In the thirtieth year of the Republic, foreign armies invade, internal turmoil spreads, and monsters run rampant. The Maoshan Sect has long since fallen into decline, but in these chaotic times, evil spirits emerge everywhere: a massive shadow beneath the river's surface, a baby crying in a mansion at night, a desolate scene of ten miles of lonely graves, the Xiangxi Corpse King returning to the world, a woman in red laughing in the night... Jiang Yuhuai, a legitimate heir to the Maoshan Sect, descends from the mountain to fulfill his late master's unfinished wish. What awaits him? How will the wheels of fate turn? And whom will he meet along the way? Romance blurb: For the first twenty-five years of his life, Jiang Yuhuai lived in seclusion with his master. But with chaos engulfing the country, his master had no choice but to go out into the world, only to be killed by Japanese gunfire. To avenge his master's death and fulfill his final wish, Jiang Yuhuai sets out alone to hunt ghosts. He expects to remain alone, but then he meets Huo Shuqing. Jiang Yuhuai finds it strange. He and Huo Shuqing are complete strangers, yet Huo Shuqing is unbelievably clingy and follows him everywhere. When Jiang Yuhuai goes ghost-hunting, Huo Shuqing comes along and somehow never gets in the way. When Jiang Yuhuai goes to pay his respects to his master, Huo Shuqing kneels even faster than he does. When an employer cheats Jiang Yuhuai, Huo Shuqing... pulls out a gun and points it at the employer. Jiang Yuhuai is utterly baffled. He only wishes he'd mastered more of his master's divination skills. Could this man be connected to him by fate? Huo Shuqing: It's not fate, it's destiny. I fell in love with you at first sight. Theme: Work hard to overcome obstacles and get what your heart desires.
