Xia Bailu and Jiang Shen debuted together, starring in a TV adaptation of a manga that shot them to fame overnight. They were both handsome young men, and their chemistry was off the charts. Everyone thought they were a real couple.

But in recent years, they stopped appearing together, and the "Lin Shen Sees a Deer" ship looked like it was about to break up. Xia Bailu couldn't accept that. He really did like Jiang Shen, so he couldn't let things between them end like this.

Xia Bailu decided to pursue Jiang Shen, bringing out his signature tactics: relentless pestering and shameless persistence.

Xia Bailu pulled Jiang Shen into a tight hug. Jiang Shen pushed him away, and Xia Bailu laughed. "Don't mind it. Friends hug all the time."

Xia Bailu kissed Jiang Shen on the cheek. Jiang Shen flew into a rage, but Xia Bailu said, "Don't mind it. Friends kiss each other on the cheek all the time."

Xia Bailu gave Jiang Shen a red string bracelet. Before Jiang Shen could refuse, he said, "Friends give each other red strings all the time." Jiang Shen was half-convinced. Did friends really do all this?

Then one day, after Xia Bailu got drunk and kissed Jiang Shen on the lips, Jiang Shen wrapped an arm around his waist and asked, "Do friends kiss each other like this, too?"

Xia Bailu shook his head. "I only do this with you, silly."

Xia Bailu pursued him relentlessly, while Jiang Shen avoided him like the plague. Xia Bailu kept looking for chances to charm him, and Jiang Shen was left on edge. In the end, Xia Bailu played hard to get, and Jiang Shen finally fell into his trap.

Xia Bailu thought, That's it, I've got you now.
