What can he do? He can only comfort himself with the thought that in this life he's the prince of square dancing. Good grief... Six-year-old Wanda is miserable: there are only two men in the family besides him, and his only older sister has gone into the palace. At such a young age, he has to shoulder the family's responsibilities: cooking. A few years later, while working at a restaurant in town, Wanda hears rumors that his sister, who has been in the palace for years, offended someone and seems to have been sent to the Cold Palace long ago. A few more years pass. Wanda is now a head chef, and stares in shock as a crowd of Imperial Guards surrounds the restaurant. “Second Young Master! Her Highness the Imperial Noble Consort has ordered us to bring you back to the capital!” “Second Young Master! Your brother-in-law has appointed you an Imperial Guard commander!” So my never-before-seen older sister is the famous Wan Zhen'er? The Ming emperor Zhu Jianshen is my brother-in-law? I'm supposed to become an Imperial Guard? Oh no! I don't want to go to the Imperial Prison, and I don't want to be an Imperial Guard. A Xiuchun saber isn't right for me! I'm a cleaver man. Imperial brother-in-law: Then you can go guard the gate! Daily updates guaranteed, and every story I start will get an ending! Don't hesitate, take the plunge! [My next story, "I'm Here to Be Your Nemesis," is already up!] Jiang Feixing was born with a fate that killed his parents. He was thrown into a river and left to die. “An ill-fated lone star, destined to bring death, poverty, and isolation. A life for monks, Taoists, and the lowest ranks of society... This child has the same fate as me, cursed to be a lone star!” A blind Taoist was drawing water by the river when he happened to feel a baby floating past. Squinting, he touched the little one's hand and said this. From then on, the old blind fortune-teller of Furong Town had a young apprentice. The two of them roamed the streets and the martial world, living a contented life together. Years later, a concubine in the Prince Regent's household gave birth to the prince's only son. The boy was frail and sickly from birth, and nearly died several times. The prince invited Taoists and monks from across the land to read his fortune and find a way to break the curse. The blind Taoist felt the young lord's bones and was horrified. He secretly left the household. “The young lord's fate is extraordinary... You... should be wary... He may become a dragon... The Prince Regent intends to rebel.” The old blind man said this to his only apprentice before the prince's men cut him down. Who could have guessed that, to bring good fortune to the young lord, the Prince Regent's household would send guards throughout the prefecture to find a girl whose fate matched his, hoping to dispel the deadly curse he was born with? “If I could bring about my parents' and master's deaths, then I can bring trouble to your whole family too!” Eight-year-old Jiang Feixing said with a grimace, wearing women's clothes and clenching his fists. To avenge his master, and to stop the Prince Regent from rebelling. Young Lord, I'm here to be your nemesis! Theme: An optimistic, forward-looking spirit can inspire those around us. We can create a brighter future through our own hard work!
