[Take It as It Comes]
Shen Zui lived in the martial world, holding a sword and admiring flowers, but never practicing martial arts.
She held her senior brother’s sword and watched blood blossom along its cold, gleaming edge. When he drew his sword, she sang along, her voice changing from a child’s innocent notes to a young woman’s mournful song.
Her senior brother was called Ming Yue Chen, so everyone began calling her Ming Yue’s Maid.
Shen Zui intended to be her senior brother’s Ming Yue’s Maid for the rest of her life.
Until the summer she turned eighteen, when she was forced to save a young man.
After recovering from his injuries, the young man refused to leave. Every day, he crossed swords with her senior brother, losing again and again, yet always coming back for more.
By then, her senior brother was blind and had a crippled leg, making it difficult for him to walk. Even so, he remained the greatest swordsman under heaven.
The young man never lasted more than ten moves against him. His weapon and his pride were both broken each time.
Shen Zui treated the young man with open disdain. The only reason she let him stay was so he could give her frustrated, disabled senior brother someone to practice against.
Her senior brother said the young man was resilient, like he himself had been when young. He wanted to see how far the young man could go.
Shen Zui always did as her senior brother asked. “Then we’ll send him away once you’ve had enough of him.”
After saying this, Shen Zui turned around and saw the young man standing tall beneath the covered walkway, his sword at his side, his expression cold and sinister.
She strode past him without looking his way, but he stretched out an arm and pulled her into the shadow of the flowering vines.
Without changing expression, he imitated her senior brother’s tone and called her one word at a time: “Ming Yue’s Maid.”
With nowhere to retreat, Shen Zui felt an inexplicable pang of fear, but glared at him defiantly all the same.
The young man lowered his eyes and studied her for a long while. Then he licked his lips and chuckled. “Take a good look. Do I look like your senior brother?”

It was fine. He wasn’t a good person anyway.

Willful and spoiled young mistress of a sword school X dark, rabid young marquis
One-on-one, both leads are inexperienced in love. The story is mainly about these two awkwardly falling in love, with plenty of bickering and tension. A sweet-and-sour romance.
The senior brother is a top-tier star swordsman and a national idol. He has no romantic feelings for the heroine.
But the heroine has plenty of people harboring unrequited feelings for her.
