How Did I End Up Being Offered to the God of Music?

Wen Zili is a genius violinist. When he appears in a white tie, carrying his violin, he looks like an elegant prince stepping out of a fairy tale.

His only flaw is that he's a little superstitious.

Before every performance, Wen Zili prays devoutly backstage: "If this performance goes well, I'll devote my whole life to music!"

Later, he really does become an overnight sensation. On the night of a concert, a handsome man knocks on his door. "Are you the one who insisted on offering yourself to me, no matter what?"

Wen Zili closes his eyes, then... calls the police.

As the God of Music, he'd finally come down from his temple to claim an offering, only to be kicked out. He feels deeply humiliated.

The God of Music decides to make this arrogant human pay.

A bunch of musicians offer him advice.

Chopin: People are always drawn to strange things. For instance, the woman I'm seeing loves dressing up as a man. I think she's incredibly cool!

The God of Music: ?

Paganini: To win his heart, you have to win his stomach first. But most importantly, lock him up and sleep with him!

The God of Music: ??

Liszt: Love! Passion! You have to elope with him!

The God of Music: ???

Armed with the musicians' brilliant advice, the God of Music confidently knocks on Wen Zili's door again...

The God of Music successfully gets close to Wen Zili and comes to realize that Wen Zili is actually a good person. If he just tells the truth, Wen Zili surely won't get angry.

The God of Music decides to come clean. "Zili, there's something very important I need to tell you."

Wen Zili takes out the little note he's prepared:

1. If you're Beethoven, pay for the three Steinways you smashed, the noise complaints, and three years of housework. If you're Paganini, pay for the windows you shattered in the building and perform background music for ten years. If you're Liszt, clear up dozens of rumors and spend twenty years teaching music appreciation.

2. If you're the God of Music, all the above punishments are multiplied by ten.

Wen Zili smiles. "All right, come clean."
