"As a Saniwa, my goal is to sell the most books and be the cutest person around!"

"But could you get down from the tree before you say that?"

"No. I refuse."

The girl in shrine maiden clothes lounged calmly on a cherry tree branch. Looking down at Tsurumaru, she insisted, "If I climb down, they'll find me. Why are they chasing me so relentlessly? Am I really that cute?"

Little Tsurumaru looked at the approaching Armed Detective Agency members, Port Mafia members, a handsome group of Decay of the Angel members, literary heroes, and jujutsu sorcerers. At his Saniwa's baffling confidence, he nearly broke down, then shouted with all his might:

"You think they're looking for you because you're cute?

No, that's not it! They're after you because you accidentally kicked someone into the water, ripped up a paperback, smashed an alchemical gem, and used cursed objects as kindling to keep warm!"

"Please, just act like a normal person!"
