The Detective and the Dessert Shop

The people at the Armed Detective Agency noticed that their great detective had become obsessed with a dessert shop. Not only did he insist on ordering sweets from there every day, he also made regular visits after work.

What's more, after checking in for 365 days straight, the young man whose motto was "As long as I'm happy, everything's fine" went and brought the dessert shop's owner back with him, just so she could feed him sweets.

Everyone tried to stop him, warning that this was absolutely not allowed!

But the great detective opened his eyes and replied without hesitation, "I fell for her before I fell for her desserts. It took the great detective ages to win her over, so naturally, she's staying with me for the rest of our lives!"

Seeing that the shop owner had blushed and wasn't denying it, the onlookers, having been force-fed a mouthful of romance, waved goodbye.

Sorry, we failed to see the truth!
