Blurb:

Outside the ruined city, the alien Qatar race watches with hostile intent. In the city, people gather in each venue district by the appointed time.

The huge floating screen in the middle of the hall clearly displays the rules of the game:

1. A game takes place every four days. It lasts one day in real time, while the duration inside the game is unknown.

2. Participants: humans and half-demons aged 18 to 70.

3. The type of game world is decided by drawing lots.

4. Points can be spent to buy a pass that lets you sit out a round.

5. During the game, either complete the mission and clear it, or die.

[Scene One]

Xie Qin: "A Bai, how about turning into a fluffy little ball?"

Bai Su: (His hand polishing a nan alloy dagger pauses strangely.) "No."

(After a fight)

Xie Qin: (Holding a white furball whose fur has been rubbed until it sticks out everywhere.) "A Bai, I told you, you can't beat me in human form."

Bai Su, forced to turn back into his demon form and then forced to shrink: "..."

[Scene Two]

Xie Qin: "Uncle Bai~~ Want to see who can kill more Qatars?"

Bai Su: "Boring. No."

Xie Qin: "I'll cook for you for a whole month, no strings attached~~"

Bai Su: (Silent.)

(After the game world ends)

Xie Qin: (Waving the spatula in his hand.) "Bai Su, you cheater!"

Bai Su, who won the bet by relying on his demon form: "A bet's a bet."

[Scene Three]

Bai Su: "Xie Qin! All of this will end! We... we won't... You'll be safe..."

Xie Qin: (Grabbing Bai Su by the lapels, his eyes bloodshot.) "End? At the cost of your life? Then I'd rather it go on forever. Let everyone go to hell together!"

Bai Su: (Breaking free and transforming into his demon form.) "Xie Qin, this is fate. Neither of us has a choice. You have to... live well..."

#Emotionally detached, interested in nothing, Bai Su (top) X rebellious, can't stand not causing trouble, Xie Qin (top)#
