The Empress Doesn't Want to Draw Cards Today

After the empire fell, its last empress, Finora, and the surviving people were exiled to the edge of the world, where the legendary gods had fallen.

The moment she stepped onto the scorched earth, something suddenly appeared in her mind... a gacha pool?

Finora hesitantly drew a card:

N-Rank Card: A five-cent special-effects flashlight from the God of Light

She drew another:

N-Rank Card: Half a kilo of scrap iron from the God of Fire

Just as she was about to draw again--

Gacha Pool: Draws this period: 0/2; Today's fortune: E. You have been bound to the Savior System bestowed by the gods. Please complete your missions diligently to draw more cards!

Finora finally drew an SSR, but the pitch-black card bore a pair of bloody lips. Beneath them was a line of twisted lettering:

A smooch from the Grim Reaper of the Underworld ╭(╯ε╰)╮

Finora silently put the card back in the card-washing area.

I'm tired. I'm done saving the world. Let it all be destroyed.

I want the banner of the Andes to be known far and wide, with wolves and steeds bowing in fear;

I want an age of prosperity to endure, with every nation paying tribute, and none but me to be admired by later generations.

When I am crowned, I want the gods to return, and bow before me.
