Shouldn't Have Tempted

At first, Shi Qin only wanted to protect herself, so she asked the man who had been coming to the bookstore lately to help fend off a few unwanted admirers. Her first impression of him: strikingly handsome, quiet, and honest. Later, she ran into him in an alley. Wearing his usual placid expression, he punched a burly man until his nose gushed blood and he dropped to his knees begging for mercy, then casually wiped the blood off the back of his hand. Their eyes met. She remembered last night, when she’d taken the initiative to pin him down on the sofa and kiss the corner of his mouth, then teased him about how his lashes had trembled. Shi Qin’s legs began to shake. Was it still possible to run? Of course not. Ji Xian showed her through his actions that you shouldn’t trust your instincts too much :) A genuinely honest, soft-hearted girl x a quietly gloomy demon king 1v1 HE, a sweet, sweet romance set in a small county town Theme: The power of love can warm everything.
