After the Unhinged Big Shot Took a Fancy to Me

Wen Jiayou, a useless pretty boy, wakes up one day to learn that he's become a boss in the game Nightmare Loop. The System looks at his pretty face, the kind that gets him forgiven no matter what he does, and says solemnly, "Players will never guess that such a silly beauty is the final boss!" Wen Jiayou slowly types a question mark. "I think this trash game is doomed sooner or later..." He's forced to become a bloodthirsty, lovesick vampire in a dark castle, a teary mermaid whose tears turn to pearls in a stormy deep sea, a malicious wizard in a cursed town, and a mischievous, theatrical evil god in the gray mist of the apocalypse... Wen Jiayou plays his role as a tool with all the enthusiasm of a slacker, halfheartedly pushing the plot forward. With the System's help, he cuts down the players with ease, earning a fearsome reputation. But as one instance after another passes, why does Wen Jiayou feel like the most handsome man among the players is more of a villain than he is? And why is that man's gaze on him getting more and more unsettling... * People all lament that those chosen to enter Nightmare Loop are poor souls constantly fighting for their lives. But Gu Shiyuan pins the beautiful vampire prince to an extravagant high-backed chair, forcing him to lick the blood from his own lips. He restrains the sobbing mermaid prince, kisses his shimmering eyes, and toys with the little mermaid's beautiful, sensitive tail. He disguises himself as the wizard's handsome prey, and poses as the evil god's crazed follower... * For the Nth time, Wen Jiayou is held in the man's arms. His heart is unmoved: I'm numb. I'll just lie flat. * #Everyone else plays a nightmare game, but you play the boss. Is something wrong with you?# #System, get out here and take your punishment! Why can players bleep-bosses?# Lazy, pretty uke (Wen Jiayou) x obsessive, utterly depraved seme (Gu Shiyuan) Reader's guide: *At heart, this is a silly, sweet story. The author's made-up rules are everywhere. *Not scary, just lighthearted and ridiculous =3= [Note from 2021.6.10: The blurb has been screenshotted] Theme: Treat others with sincerity
