[Football] Monopoly

Angus Ferguson had made a modest success of himself just one year after graduating from Wharton. Determined to help the Red Devils rise again, he gritted his teeth, took out a loan, and beat the Glazer family to the purchase of Manchester United. From then on, he was buried in debt.

Then he ran into the greatest stroke of luck in twenty years: he found a die.

[Ding-dong~]

[Congratulations, you have successfully activated the Monopoly System]

Well, would you look at that! A couch potato is back on his feet in no time!

Can't afford to buy players? No problem, roll the die!

The management is being poached with sky-high salaries? No problem, roll the die!

Rolling the die might even earn you a Chance card! Victory or defeat rests in the hands of the lucky!

But... you can only roll the die when you win a match.

Then...

You're the one! Sir Alex! Go out there and beat Bayern with Rooney charging down the wings!

Sir Alex: ? You've got some nerve!

Angus: My mistake, my mistake. Beat Bayern with Rooney and Giggs charging down the wings!

Note:

1. Sir Alex's kid. Mostly a family-bond story.

2. Red Devils fan, Red Devils soul. The Red Devils are all bottom-of-the-barrel now. Good grief, who would've thought that the once-proud Red Devils would be fighting relegation?
