Don't Cry, I'll Give You All the Candy

- Bonus scene after the 26-chapter finale -

I look at Meng Yixing, whom I've made cry. His eyes are red, and he sits leaning against the sofa.

One hand props him up. He's breathing unevenly, looking at me helplessly.

He sneaks a few glances at me, then quickly looks away, his eyes landing on the ends of my hair, which reaches my waist.

Tsk.

I walk over.

I use one knee to push apart his legs, propped up on the sofa.

Leaning down, I move closer.

I gently lift his chin with my index finger.

I lean close to his ear. "There, there. Crybabies get candy, you know? Hmm?"

As I finish speaking,

I mischievously rub my knee against his precious little treasure.

His ears are so red they look ready to bleed.

Though he tries to look fierce, he speaks

in the voice of a little kitten: "Got it!"

Then

he even glares at me.
