[Western Crossover] Can I Not Farm in Gotham?

“As long as I stay off the main quest, I can keep playing this open-world game forever!” That was why Amber got hooked on the massive single-player RPG Become a Hero/Villain! She had no desire to be a hero and no interest in becoming a villain. She just liked the game’s rich, freeform casual gameplay. Farming! Farming! And more farming! Green names can be talked to, yellow names can be robbed, and red names can be killed. If a door is open, you can go inside and loot the place. If a car is parked by the roadside and left unlocked, you can drive it home. The map is astonishingly huge, and every now and then you can even trigger an easter egg. Amber was having so much fun that she’d long since forgotten there was a main quest at all. She camped out waiting for a special merchant who appeared at random. He’d buy her crops for three times their usual price. [Always Getting Cornered: Young Master Timothy Wayne]: Do I really have to be the only one you keep picking on? She also explored the map, sweeping through every enterable room like a proper RPG player. [House Broken Into: Red Hood]: Who stole the homemade pizza from my fridge? And, of course, whenever she spotted an unlocked car on the road, she kindly took it off someone’s hands. Now she had another way to get out to the suburbs and deliver vegetables. [Watching from the Shadows: Batman]: How on earth did she drive off with the Batmobile? The infuriating thing was that Amber didn’t want to follow the main quest, but it kept landing right on her doorstep. The System kept telling her that her fame was growing, that she’d completed missions and defeated opponents, and even repeatedly reminded her it was time to pick a codename. Farming in Gotham is so hard QAQ 1. Batfam fiction, but the protagonist doesn’t go home until the very end. 2. Tech upgrades and farming, with gameplay inspired by Don’t Starve and Stardew Valley. 3. It’s meant to be lighthearted, so the author may not have been thinking straight. Theme: We save each other, and we are each other’s superheroes in our ordinary lives.
