The Great Migration

Hey, everyone! I'm revising this story, so updates can continue. I'm not dropping it.

The world suddenly collapses, and everyone's only hope of survival is to migrate to a completely unfamiliar world.

No matter who you were or how much wealth you had, everything resets to zero.

A CEO might become a slave, while a rookie might level up. Everything is turned upside down: survival of the fittest, by natural selection.

Those who can't adapt die.

So... everyone faces a new identity,

and a completely new world that is fantastical, savage, and devoted to strength.

Shen Shidu chooses to work with his nemesis, Baili Yexing. One has the mind of a mage, the other the strength of a warrior. He thought becoming allies with his enemy and carving out a place for themselves in this other world would be the height of his life's success.

Who knew that somehow, after all their back-and-forth, they'd end up working together in bed...

Shen Shidu: You old dog, Baili. Why do I always lose whenever I'm up against you?

Baili Yexing: Maybe because my great mage is too powerful. I'm the only one who can handle him.

Tall, burly, and cunning gong (Baili Yexing) x cunning, gentle, composed, and levelheaded shou (Shen Shidu)

Reader's guide:

1. Setting one: In the other world, people rank roughly from highest to lowest as kings and archmages, city lords and mages, slave owners, warriors and shamans, commoners, and slaves. Warriors and mages have their own levels and can advance.

2. Setting two: Migration is led by slave owners, who bring people into the new world. Unless they awaken an ability, everyone starts out as a slave.

3. Setting three: People from our world can awaken as warriors or shamans and level up step by step, but leveling up is hard, and the chance of awakening is very small.

4. Setting four: The other world's values are almost completely different from those of our world. It reveres strength, and its various groups are not equal (extremely unequal).

5. More serious in tone, but not dull. Strong leads, sweet moments, no angst, happy ending, one-on-one.

Thank you for reading.

Theme: Live frugally, cherish food, and avoid waste.
