The Movie Emperor Insists on Living at My House

The day after He Xiaoxi posted an ad for a room for rent on his social media, a prospective tenant showed up at his door.

The moment the man took off his sunglasses and mask, He Xiaoxi's heart nearly burst out of his chest and exploded on the spot.

He knew the man on the posters covering his room far too well.

Bai? Three-time Best Actor? Song? Idol? Han?

And so He Xiaoxi began living with the award-winning actor Bai Songhan. What was it like?

He Xiaoxi chewed on the end of his pen and tilted his head, thinking for ages before writing: When the last ray of warmth from winter's sun had faded, the little squirrel turned over in its tree hollow and went back to its sweet dreams.

Bai Songhan raised an eyebrow, looking utterly confused.

So He Xiaoxi wrote again: With the tallest, warmest pine tree sheltering it, it has nothing to worry about, whether the world outside is beset by blizzards and gales or blazing sun and scorching fire.

Bai Songhan brought over a blanket and asked with a double meaning, "Sleep, little squirrel?"

He Xiaoxi blushed.
