[Sky: Children of the Light] A Record of Life as a Child of Light

After flying aimlessly through this game for two hours, what finally made Xiao Bai stay was the starlight she saw alone in the Vault of Knowledge. The first time a veteran took her to the Eye of Eden, she traded all her winged light for just two red candles. But luckily, that was just enough for Xiao Bai to get the square-shaped piano. She spent the whole night in Daylight Prairie, talking about everything under the sun, like a late-night chat. Sky: Children of the Light is just a game. Xiao Bai typed those words into the chat box. Her fingers lingered for a few seconds on the glowing phone screen But life, it seemed, was just a game too. If nothing we could touch, other than what lay before our eyes, could prove that we existed then in a universe falling apart, the only proof that she existed was that she lived in the worlds of everyone she met. "We all live on in other people's memories." "So our friends live in our hearts, too." Xiao Bai set down a chair in Daylight Prairie and said with a smile, as though she were making a solemn pronouncement, "In the end, we will gradually disappear along with everyone we've ever met." "There's no need to be sad." Note: A slice-of-life story, not a power-leveling, face-slapping power fantasy. Theme: Follow the light.
