Pokemon fanatic Nie Dong woke up one day to find that she had transmigrated to another world.
This world no longer had separate nations.
To fight the disaster caused by abnormal creatures known as [Phantom Beasts], all of humanity had united to form the [League of Legends].
The war between the League of Legends and the Phantom Beasts had gone on for over a hundred years, and every battle ended with both sides badly hurt.
Watching a cat-shaped Phantom Beast sneak into her house to steal food, then give her a pitiful look after getting caught, Nie Dong was baffled.
Nie Dong: ???
Stop right there! What on earth are you people in the League of Legends doing?
These aren't abnormal creatures causing a disaster. They're Pokemon (crossed out)! [Shouts loudly]!!!
The hundredth year after the Phantom Beasts descended upon the world was known as the [Year of Divine Revelation].
A girl named Nie Dong appeared out of nowhere in the human League of Legends, and from then on, she completely changed the way humans and Phantom Beasts lived together.
Under her guidance, people learned about Phantom Beasts and how to live in harmony with them.
After that, the war between humans and Phantom Beasts came to an end, and Beast Tamers became the world's most popular profession.
Having established the world's new order, Nie Dong used her influence to make an announcement:
"I'm going to hold the world's first Phantom Beast League tournament. The winner will be awarded the title of Phantom Beast Master."
"Who agrees? Who objects?"
The voters she'd recruited to take her side: Who else could possibly be recognized as the world's one and only Phantom Beast Master besides you?
[Still a sunny, sweet heroine. I love little rays of sunshine forever www. The male lead is human, not a beast.]
Note: I'm a little torn over whether to write this as a series of step-by-step competitions, or to start with changing the world and people's views. If I go with competitions, the world will already be fully developed, and the plot will be different. I'm definitely writing a Beast Taming story. This is my dream of Pokemon come true!
