A Commoner's Marriage

When Xu Xihui first meets Jiang Nan'an, she is utterly disheartened. She steels herself and decides to fake an accident. "I can't get up unless you give me five hundred taels."

The guard says, "You insolent commoner! How dare you try to swindle the Prince!"

Xu Xihui scrambles and tumbles down the hillside.

When she meets Jiang Nan'an again, Xu Xihui summons the courage to apologize. "Your Highness is magnanimous. Please don't hold it against a humble girl like me."

Jiang Nan'an says, "Who are you?"

The third time she meets Jiang Nan'an, Xu Xihui turns and runs.

Jiang Nan'an gives the order: "Seize her!"
