On her first day at her new school, Wen Ling came face to face with a boy in the hallway.
Tall and slender, with a straight nose and skin that seemed to reflect the light. He wore the school uniform, a white shirt and black pants, with a high waistline.
He looked like he had stepped right out of a manga.
Such a promising beginning, perfect for falling in love. Too bad he was hurrying along and didn't even spare her a glance.
Wen Ling clicked her tongue and turned to watch him enter the multimedia classroom.
Ten minutes later, in front of the auditorium stage:
"Congratulations to Gu Rongjin, class monitor of Senior Class 2A and student council president, for placing first in the citywide joint exam. Let's give him a warm welcome."
A girl in the audience shrieked. Wen Ling looked up and saw him walk out against the light.
Gu Rongjin took the speech and smiled politely at the audience. In an instant, everything turned black and white, and only he remained in color.
"Go seduce him."
Wen Ling heard herself say it.
"Make him kneel before his own boundless desire."
And that's exactly what Wen Ling did.
His parents were highly educated. He was a perennial top student, the academic god everyone looked up to in their school days.
